PARKING REGULATIONS

All students, faculty and staff are required to register their vehicles with the Campus Safety and Security Office, located in LAC 147.

All students (residents and commuting) will park in the Point Living Community parking lot, located adjacent to North Second Street, during the hours of 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. (Residents of the Loft and the Summit may park in the Lanier Academic Center parking lot during these times.) Resident students living at Skyhawks Hall are encouraged to take transit rather than driving to the Point Living Community parking lot.

Tickets will be issued as follows for violations:
First offense: $25
Second offense: $50
Third offense: $75

All students who are operating a motor vehicle should learn and obey traffic and parking regulations at Point University and comply with Georgia and Alabama’s motor vehicle laws. Also, students, faculty and staff should be aware of the City of West Point’s downtown parking regulations to avoid being ticketed.
